I am a freelance multimedia journalist, photographer and video producer from Mexico City. I am currently a grantee of the Brown Institute for Media Innovation at the Columbia Journalism School where I am an Adjunct Assistant Professor for photography and video classes. I got my Master's degree from Columbia Journalism School in 2013 and my B.A. from The New School in 2010.
I am particularly interested in covering immigration, identity and human rights. My work has taken me to Mexico, Guatemala,Cambodia, and most recently to Colombia. My work has appeared in TIME, NatGeo, The New York Times, Blue Chalk Media, The Riverdale Press, Narratively, BizBash Media and Mic.com.
